Captions are crucial for video accessibility. Closed captions can be added to video recordings using the following:

If you are teaching in the Real Time Online, Combined Online, or Sufflex modalities, make sure to allow students to turn on live transcription (i.e. real time transcription) in Zoom. 

Audio Description

Audio description is a voiceover track that describes the visual action taking place in a video. For example, a video of a magician performing a trick might not be understandable to someone who cannot visualize the trick being performed. Audio description would describe what the magician is doing.
