Math and Science Accessibility

In Microsoft Word, the MathType add-in must be used to write equations that screen reading software will read using the correct mathematical terminology and in the correct reading order. To request MathType, put in a software request ticket with ITS. Please note: The "Equation Editor" in Word is not the same as the MathType add-in. Anything other than the simplest equations will not be read correctly using it.
