Stony Brook University Scholarship Details
- The scholarship is awarded in the spring for students enrolling in the fall
- Recipient must take 12+ credits per semester
- Recipient must maintain 3.0 GPA
- Scholarship is renewable for up to 4 consecutive fall & spring semesters subject to Stony Brook's scholarship renewal criteria.
- Students must qualify for the New York State resident tuition rate.
NOTE: Applying for the Stay on Long Island Scholarship is NOT an application to the college. You must apply for transfer admission separately.
Scholarships available for May 2024 graduates enrolling for Fall 2024:
- Three (3) full-tuition SoLII scholarships, one per Suffolk campus.
Students must apply for transfer admission to the college by Monday, February 26, 2024 to be eligible for the SoLII scholarship.
