Admissions consideration to the Surgical Technology A.A.S. program is based on a rubric used to evaluate student performance.

Healthcare Experience

Documented minimum one year of active experience in a health care field with direct patient care, such as RN, LPN, EMT, CNA, paramedic, phlebotomist, medical assistant, physical therapy aide, sonographer technologist.  Email DOCUMENTED PROOF on facility letterhead signed by the employer (providing job title and length of employment) to admissionsg@sunysuffolk.edu.
