| Applying the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric, 7th Edition | Quality Matters (QM) is a rubric used to design online and blended courses to best promote student learning. Applying the QM rubric helps instructors enhance their reflective practices by identifying areas for improvement in course design and delivery, which in turn increases student engagement and learning outcomes. Instructors who complete the training may also list this professional development on A forms towards promotion. Training is two weeks, asynchronous online and requires a minimum commitment of 10 to 12 hours per week. The training is rigorous and will have daily deadlines. The training runs twice a month and will be provided through the QM website. If interested, please contact us directly at CTL@sunysuffolk.edu. Registration is limited. |
