High School Students Seeking College Credits
Start earning college credits while in high school! Suffolk provides high school students
with affordable learning opportunities that result in college credits which transfer
to many public and private colleges and universities as well as SUNY schools.
Classes include a wide variety of disciplines, including psychology, communications,
statistics, criminal justice, business, marine biology, anatomy, physiology, algebra,
precalculus, creative writing, natural sciences, physical education and more.
Your transfer to Suffolk County Community College can be accomplished easily. First,
apply online. Next, have official transcripts from both your high school and any colleges you
have attended, as well as SAT or ACT test scores if you have taken them, sent to:
Central Admissions
533 College Road
Selden, NY 11784
Once your college transcripts have arrived, your transfer credits will be evaluated
automatically and you will be notified of the results. If your transcripts are not
in English, they must be translated and evaluated by an official evaluation agency
or national consulate. You can view the Transfer Evaluation Tables for an unofficial preview of how your courses are likely to transfer (available for
select colleges only).
