Opt-In to Receive Automated Text Messages

Text messaging is one of the ways (but not the only way) Suffolk County Community College communicates with prospective students who opt in to receive such messages. Students who have opted in will receive automated text messages on topics that would be important or helpful to students applying for admission to the College, such as application status, deadlines, admitted student / open house events, registration, scholarships and other notices critical to the admissions process. The College does not charge students for this service, but standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may still apply. Any charge associated with receiving text messages is not the responsibility of the College.

*Prospective students may opt out of receiving these text messages at any time by responding “STOP” to a text message received from the College, or by contacting the Office of Central Student Affairs at (631) 451-4572, or munschp@sunysuffolk.edu.
