Bay Shore’s Belinda Pagdanganan is New Suffolk Trustee
Bay Shore’s Belinda Pagdanganan has been sworn in as Suffolk County Community College’s newest member of the Board of trustees. Pagdanganan, 62, was appointed by New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to fill the vacancy left by Patchogue Mayor Paul Pontieri’s resignation from the board last year. Pagdanganan’s term is seven years.
Pagdanganan is a member of the college foundation’s board of directors and currently manages government relations in Suffolk County for National Grid. Pagdanganan earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of the Philippines and a master’s degree from Dowling College and has been a volunteer firefighter in the Brentwood Fire Department since 1997.
