L.I. community college helps auto mechanics pivot to electric vehicles
WCBS News Reporter Carolyn Gusoff recently visited our Automotive Technology Program to learn more about our training partnership with PSEG Long Island and a new generation of auto technicians.Suffolk Community College teaches auto mechanics how to pivot to electric vehicles.
A steady growth in the number of electric vehicles is sending some auto mechanics back to school. Suffolk Community College has partnered with PSEG Long Island to offer a two-day introductory course in EV and plug-in hybrid maintenance and safety.
