President McKay and Board Chair Sanders Honored by County as Prominent Leaders
Suffolk County Community College President Dr. Shaun L. McKay and Theresa Sanders,
chair of the College’s Board of Trustees, were honored, with others, by Suffolk County
Executive Steve Bellone and the Office of Minority Affairs as being among Suffolk’s
Most Prominent African American Leaders.
A photo exhibit featuring the leaders was unveiled on February 18 and will be on display at the H. Lee Dennison building in Hauppauge as part of this year’s Black History Month celebration.
