Suffolk Ranked First After Northeast Student Math League Competition
Suffolk County Community College has been ranked first in the Northeast Region for the 2014 -15 academic year after competing in the Student Math League competition hosted by the American Mathematical Association for Two Year Colleges (AMATYC). Two students placed in the top five in the Northeast region -- Jakub Wlodek ranked third and Maciej Wlodek, fourth.
Dr. Christine M. Brady, the moderator for the Student Math League for AMATYC at Suffolk
County Community College was awarded a plaque during a regional luncheon at the AMATYC
National Conference in New Orleans last month.
