Student Athletes Are Scholarly Champs, Named Academic All Americans
Thirteen Suffolk County Community College student-athletes have been named Academic
All Americans by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
Seven of the students were named “superior” for maintaining a grade point average
of between 3.8 and 3.99. Six students are “exemplary” for maintaining a grade point
average of 3.6 to 3.79.
“All of us at the College take great satisfaction in the accomplishments of these
students as they are recognized for their commitment to learning and their passion
for competition," said Suffolk County Community College President Dr. Shaun L. McKay.
