As the only provider of certificate and degree programs in HVAC Technology on Long
Island, SUNY Suffolk is now offering a 15-week, non-credit course that will prepare
students for the rapidly growing field of high-efficiency heat pump installation.
The course will be provided at NO CHARGE. Some experience in the HVAC industry is
preferred but not necessary. During the training, students will:
Receive a SUNY Suffolk Completion Certificate in Heat Pump Inverter Technology.
Gain the opportunity to earn seven SUNY Suffolk college credits through real-world
work experience and progressive exams. Credits may then be used toward a one-year
certificate or a two-year degree.
Be prepared to sit for certification exams accredited through the ESCO Institute.
