Academic Advising Mentoring Center

The center provides the resources and opportunities for students and faculty to understand, initiate, and sustain mutually beneficial academic advising and mentoring relationships.

Do you need help planning your semester schedule?  Do you have questions about SAIN? Would you like to connect with a professor in a major that interests you? The Academic Advising and Mentoring Center can help!

The Academic Advising and Mentoring Center (AAMC) helps bring together SCCC students seeking academic advising and teaching faculty, who can provide necessary mentorship.  The AAMC staff works to connect students with faculty members based on the students’ interests and disciplines.

Additionally, the staff is available at each center to help students understand Degree Works and to select classes that will fulfill their degree requirements.  AAMC staff members can also help students navigate the MySCCC portal to search for classes and register online.
