Mission 

The Division of Student Affairs promotes learning through quality programs and services that empower individuals to realize their educational goals in accordance with the mission of the college.

Goals and Outcomes  

Goal 1:     To foster an environment of purposeful engagement for Suffolk County Community College military and veteran students. 
Outcomes:           
Enhance opportunities for military and veteran students to access military and veteran resources 
Develop interventions which educate military and veteran students on appropriate use of their benefits

Goal 2:     Facilitate outreach to the military and veteran community regarding opportunities at Suffolk County Community College 
Outcomes:           
Foster relationships with agencies serving veterans 
Identify and build collaborative partnerships for military and veteran recruitment

Goal 3:     Provide enriching opportunities for military and veteran students to reach their educational goals 
Outcomes:  
Develop retention activities for military and veteran students  
Provide guidance to military and veteran students regarding transfer and career opportunities
