The Career Planning Process
Career Exploration is a process through which you will learn about yourself and the world of work, you will identify and explore potentially satisfying occupations and develop an effective strategy to realize your career goals. Career Exploration is an important activity that can help you choose an educational or career path along with a co-op or internship that fits with your interests, skills and abilities.
This process could also be best described as "information gathering." Essentially, you will gather as much information about yourself and potential career paths that will assist you with your decision-making. In researching, create a list to further investigate before making a decision that will work for you.
