The current health crisis doesn't have to stop you from achieving your educational goals. Summer Sessions at Suffolk County Community College provide learning opportunities that allow students to earn college credits that transfer to SUNY schools, as well as many private four-year colleges and universities. Suffolk's Summer Sessions allow college students to build on what they've been learning while moving along a fast track to graduation.

Studies show that students who take classes year-round are three times more likely to graduate.

High school students can also get a jump-start on their college careers by taking their first college classes at Suffolk. Students can choose from a wide variety of disciplines, including psychology, communications, statistics, criminal justice, business, marine biology, anatomy, physiology, algebra, precalculus, creative writing, natural sciences, physical education and more.

The first Summer Session (6-week and 8-week) begins on May 24; the second summer session (6-week) begins on July 6.

All summer classes are delivered in a variety of remote modalities. Information on modalities can be found on the class schedule listing pages.
