Summer Sessions at Suffolk County Community College provide learning opportunities that allow students to earn college credits that transfer to SUNY schools, as well as many private four-year colleges and universities. Suffolk's Summer Sessions allow college students to build on what they've been learning while moving along a fast track to graduation.

Studies show that students who take classes year-round are three times more likely to graduate.

High school students can also get a jump-start on their college careers by taking their first college classes at Suffolk. Students can choose from a wide variety of disciplines, including psychology, communications, statistics, criminal justice, business, marine biology, anatomy, physiology, algebra, precalculus, creative writing, natural sciences, physical education and more.

The first summer session (6-week and 8-week) begins on May 21; the second summer session (6-week) begins on July 8.

All summer classes are delivered in a variety of modalities. Information on modalities can be found on the class schedule listing pages.
