Upon successful completion of the Criminal Justice / A.S. Degree program graduates will be able to:

  1. Identify and describe the components of the American criminal justice system;
  2. Describe the major complexities of maintaining law and order in a free and open society guided by the Constitution of the United States of America;
  3. Explain and apply major concepts related to criminology, law, corrections and policing; and
  4. Analyze and discuss the importance of sensitivity to ethical and multicultural issues as they pertain to criminal justice.
