The Ammerman Campus Academic Computing Center, located in the Huntington Library Building, consists of an Open Computer Lab area and specialized classrooms utilizing both Windows-based and Macintosh computers.

The Academic Computing Center provides outstanding facilities and technological resources to support the curricula taught across SCCC.

All computers in the ACC allow access to the Internet and the SCCC Student Portal and all software available supports the SCCC curriculum.

At least one staff member is always on duty to provide technical assistance.

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  • No Food or Beverages are permitted.
  • Only currently enrolled students (contract courses included) are allowed to make full use of the center's instructional network.
    A student ID is required to sign into the ACC.
  • The Center's staff has the right to limit a user's access based on the following: time limits, nature of software applications, and equipment availability. In general, academic use takes priority over recreational use.
  • Unlicensed software is not allowed at the Center. Copying any software without the proper license is illegal and therefore, not allowed.
  • The availability of software applications depends on the current curricula and staffing levels. Individual software needs cannot always be met.
  • Under no circumstances can the Center's personnel do any academic or personal work for students or other individuals, including tutoring, troubleshooting, fixing, installing hardware
    and software to any personal devices such as laptops, tablets, phones, etc. Furthermore, the Center's personnel are not allowed to give individuals tutorials on how to use their personal devices.
  • When printing any documents in the lab, there is a 20 page limit.
  • Copy machines are available next to the library circulation desk.
  • We are not liable for any data stored on networked drives since the security on Public drives are limited due to the nature of accessibility.
