Philosophy

The child care centers subscribe to the following statements:

  • a good child care program meets the child's total developmental needs (i.e., physical, intellectual, social, and emotional)
  • children of all ages should learn to be independent
  • children learn best by doing, that is through hands-on activities that foster a sense of curiosity and self-reliance
  • activities should stimulate a child's intellectual and inquisitive abilities, and enhance motor development and social skills
