Pathways to Opportunities Within Energy and Renewables
POWERSuffolk County Community College's Office for Continuing Education received funding from the U.S. Department of Labor to develop job skills training in renewable energy and energy efficiency. This training is now offered as non-credit professional development training for anyone with construction, electrical or architectural experience.
- LEED Green Associates
- NABCEP Solar Technology and Entry Level Photovoltaic Installer
- BPI Energy Rater and BPI Envelope Shell
Training begins each semester. All programs require a high school academic diploma or high school equivalency.
Upon successful completion of a training program, you will receive a certificate of completion. In addition, participants will be encouraged to obtain a portable, nationally recognized credential related to the training program attended.
